S P O T Inc. is looking for a Full-Time or Part-time Speech and Language Pathologist to provide Outpatient Clinic services to work with children aged 0-18 years with developmental delays and/or special needs. Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in gathering data for comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients

  • Implementing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and in collaboration with the child's family and other healthcare professionals

  • Providing therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, social communication, and feeding/swallowing skills

  • Incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques into treatment sessions

  • Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide education, support, and home-based strategies for promoting optimal communication and language development

  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, professional development activities, and interdisciplinary evaluations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA - accredited college or school.

  • Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

  • Clinical competence in pediatric speech and language disorders

  • Knowledge of a variety of assessment and intervention techniques

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy
