S P O T Inc. is looking for a Full-Time or Part-time Speech and Language Pathologist to provide Outpatient Clinic services to work with children aged 0-18 years with developmental delays and/or special needs. Requirements
Responsibilities:
Assist in gathering data for comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
Implementing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and in collaboration with the child's family and other healthcare professionals
Providing therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, social communication, and feeding/swallowing skills
Incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques into treatment sessions
Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide education, support, and home-based strategies for promoting optimal communication and language development
Participating in team meetings, case conferences, professional development activities, and interdisciplinary evaluations as needed
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA - accredited college or school.
Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Clinical competence in pediatric speech and language disorders
Knowledge of a variety of assessment and intervention techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy
